Case 04 · TikTok LIVE EMEA · Creator education and product adoption
Scaling creator education across six EMEA markets.
A community and product-adoption framework that turned fragmented local support into repeatable four-week creator journeys.
Case
Creator education was fragmented across markets and maturity levels.
Local teams were supporting creators with different needs, inconsistent community rhythms and uneven tracking. Creators needed clearer reasons to return, adopt product features and turn knowledge into regular LIVE behaviour.
I built a shared programme architecture that markets could localise.
I designed four-week creator journeys combining community onboarding, weekly education, product-feature content, missions, check-ins, leaderboards and incentives. I also introduced clearer cohort tracking and UID verification so participation and performance could be measured more accurately.
Operating loop
Welcome creators into the community, introduce the four-week journey structure and set clear expectations for participation and progression.
Deliver weekly education sessions covering LIVE mechanics, content formats and growth behaviours so creators build a shared language with regional teams.
Introduce specific product features through hands-on content, showing creators how to adopt and use them during LIVE sessions.
Set weekly missions that turn feature knowledge into regular LIVE practice, giving creators clear, achievable goals each week.
Run mid-program check-ins to track progress, surface blockers and reinforce habits before the next mission cycle.
Layer leaderboards and incentives into the community rhythm so creators have visible reasons to return and improve week over week.
The programme created a more consistent regional operating model.
The framework was reused across local markets and helped identify gaps in onboarding, content fatigue, feature education and tracking. Selected community cohorts showed stronger upgrade, PK and revenue performance than baseline groups. Across the broader creator-facing product programme, priority feature adoption increased by 56.9%.
